I'm excited to unveil the new WOW Media site! After nearly 20 years in the industry, I wanted to refresh our hub to better reflect our story, the websites we operate and the services we offer today.
Time flies when you are busy, and before you know it, it’s been 7 years since the last refresh of the WOW Media site. And even that was only a small refresh to clean the design up and improve it for mobile devices, since a complete new look for the site it has been over 10 years.
Here is how the WOW Media site looked before today’s refresh:

And for a little fun, here is how the WOW Media site looked back in 2007:

If you wanted to see a history of how the WOW Media site has evolved, this is a great article on how the site has changed through the years up to 2014.
What’s New
The new site puts our key websites and services front and centre. Over the last few years we’ve shifted focus somewhat from running an affiliate network to operating affiliate sites, building a portal for affiliates to discover new networks, and offering SaaS tools like WOW Save My Money and Affiliate Stats. Along with all these new projects we’ve also benefited from consulting with a multitude of companies on automation. Having utilised automation extensively within our own affiliate business to save time and streamline operations, it made sense to take that knowledge and help businesses across all industries scale, with automation and AI.
At WOW Media over the last few years we’ve utilised advanced automation and AI to automate newsletter production, category assignment, invoicing, deal placement algorithms, automated affiliate campaign pausing and restarting and so much more.
Preserving Our Story
I felt it important that the company’s history was preserved, we built the entire site from the ground up to improve the site speed and infrastructure, and we considered removing the blog as it’s not updated as much as it once was. However after consideration we spent time importing blog posts from the past 19 years, whilst many are not relevant today I felt it’s a big part of the company’s history and tells a story of how WOW Media evolved over the years from back when I started the company at school in 2007.
What’s Gone
Today marks the end of the WOW Media email newsletter. Whilst it’s always a little sad to see something go, it has been a long time since we sent out an email update. People shifted to following company updates via social media a while ago and have even gone back to RSS feeds, so we made the decision to stop spending time and resources on email newsletters for company updates and instead will focus on the blog (with RSS feeds still) and social media updates.
What’s Next
Next year WOW Media turns 20; it only feels like yesterday we were celebrating our 10th anniversary. The company has changed just as much in the last 10 years as it did in the first 10.
Over the next year we will look to strengthen our new Affiliate Stats mobile app, refine our backend automation and AI software to increase the speed and frequency that we can post out new freebies and offers on our freebie sites and launch new sites that take advantage of these advancements. Stay tuned for new site and app launches coming in 2026 and beyond. If you want to stay up to date with the new blog you may need to resubscribe to our RSS feed.
